Corporate Buildings
Nippon Car Toyota Dealership | Neuquén
The building is on a collector road from National Road 22 which is the entrance of the city of Neuquén.
It enhances and completes the empty space of the corner with a strong concrete body and consolidates the block with a 50-meter glass front overlooking the road.
The complex is an iconic urban spot that welcomes thousands of people who drive daily along the national road in order to enter the capital city of Neuquén after crossing the Neuquén river.
Technological Center of non-conventional deposits | Plottier – Neuquén
Planning was divided in two stages: the first one consist of two volumes, one for the offices and training roomsand the other for high-complexity laboratories. The second stage will add an auditorium to the complex.
Taking into account the local weather, a series of sustainable measures were designed, such as cross-ventilation in all the spaces and a north-south orientation for the main façades in order to avoid the effect of the sun in the west. Furthermore the glazed interior surfaces were protected by tree “curtains” and a reflecting pool to avoid the “heat island” effect. The building skin was developed with high performance thermal insulation panels and top-of-the-range aluminum work, with hermetically sealed double-glazing to reduce heat loss and save energy.
Portable Industrial Modules | Holdich – Chubut
Due to the difficulty of in-situ construction, a non traditional, dry. industrialized. portable construction method was proposed, even for the foundation. The construction was done completely in a workshop in the city of Neuquén. Once it had been approved by the commissioning party, it was transported and mounted in Holdich, 60 km away from Comodoro Rivadavia.
The engineering was developed and the structure was verified according to CIRSOC, wind and snow loads for local area. All the materials used in the modules are approved in accordance with current regulations.
Repsol YPF | Neuquén
The new building was thought as a complete unit with potential for growth. The challenge was to reorder the functions of the existing building and organize the access system to harmonize both sectors.
The enhancement of the existing building, the successful resolution of a new access and the adoption of a backbone that joins all the areas allowed that all the uses and facilities were combined in only one body.
IAG made the only 3D room in Argentina for this project.
Caja Previsional de Profesionales Building | Neuquén
Horizontal Property Building
The exterior appearance of the building shows the sustainable features of the proposal:
exposed brickwork, exposed concrete, natural anodized aluminum work with hermetically sealed double-glazing and T" Barriotype" roller shades on the north façade. Low-maintenance materials with good aging potential have been selected in accordance with the extreme and variable weather conditions.
The complex is organized by levels: the public activities are on the basement, ground, first and second floors, and the H-type apartments are on the third floor upwards, taking advantage of the front and rear views and avoiding future party walls.
